Yeah for me!
Just found out that I've been accepted into the screenwriters program of the New York State Writers Institute at the state University at Albany. It's fairly prestigious. They take 12 people a year.

The program is essentially a series of 12 three-hour workshops. You can get college credit, but I don't plan to. It's kind of like taking a college course on screenwriting for free. They do a screenwriting workshop every year. This year it focuses on adapting literary novels for stage and screen.
About the institute: http://www.albany.edu/writers-inst/ About the workshop: http://www.albany.edu/writers-inst/workshop17.html http://www.albany.edu/writers-inst/brown_w_langdon.html Hope I get a chance to meet Neil LaBute! I think he's a genius. |
