Man that is great footage! That guy is out of his mind with the stunts that he pulls off. Thanks for sharing that link.

Good thing they were using a jib, and not a hand held shot! At that rate, production will be expensive :)

The "Crocodile Hunter" is really a laid back guy. Those stunts are just an act. They're set up for the camera, to make them look a lot more dangerous than they really are. His father and mother ran the wildlife park before him and he was raised around critters all his life, so is well-prepared to deal with them.
I met the guy once, several years ago and he was overwhelmingly ordinary. His wife, Terri, is from my home town and we worked out at the same gym, before she headed for Oz and married him. She used to keep a Cougar for a pet, so you get the idea about her attitude towards such things. I think she puts on a pretty game attitude about all the indignities she has endure to keep Steve out of trouble on the program. Steve McDonald |

Alligator capture shot with XL-1
Click on the link below to see the capture of a GIGANTIC, HISSING, PUFFED UP 3 foot alligator that was spotted in a NW Ga resident's backyard creek! Watch as a DNR officer wrestles the beast into a cooler for transport to the nearest swamp!
Okay, it's not as cool as the Crocodile Hunter but it was kind of neato to see this thing in person. Just 3 feet of hissing reptile was enough to make me nervous so I can't image those 12-15 footers. http://161.58.78.36/asx/dvinfo/allig...GATOR1000K.asx http://161.58.78.36/asx/dvinfo/allig...LIGATOR56K.asx |
