Can the credits let me know if a film is shot in HD

Just been reading about HD (High Definition) and find it extremely intersting.

I was wondering can i know from a films credits if it is originated in HD?

For example films without a Neg Cutter Credit will be HD. Or is there a more accurate way to know which new films and TV shows i watch are HD.

Search the film on www.imdb.com.
They have something like "technical specs" where you can see what did they use to shoot it.
