Anyone catch the CNN interview this evening with Greg Spotts about his documentry on exporting American jobs overseas? Spotts interviewed workers in over a dozen US cities as thier companies began to close down and showed how their families and communities were impacted. I know this topic has been done before but what was interesting to me was this was Spots first project, was edited on a laptop, filimed with either a VX2100 or maybe PD170, done on a $40,000 budget and is to be distributed on DVD this Labor Day. During his interview he appeared to be level headed, a good story teller, compasionate and not foaming at the mouth like Michael Moore. Sorry... I like several of Moore's movies but can't stand his personality.
