What's one job you passed on that you wish you took?

Just thought I would throw that question out there.

When I was about 27 and had just gotten engaged, I got a call from - believe it or not - Industrial Light and Magic. They wanted to know if I wanted to come out to California for an interview. I passed because I was in the midst of getting married.

Looking back, though, I wish I would have done the interview.

(P.S. I would have still gotten married, just in case the wife reads this...) :)

I was offered a job at McCann Erickson to work as in-house dubbing technician/editor, that time I was working as a Dubbing Technician/Editor for a production company. Same thing I was engaged to my wife and we work at the same company, so I declined. The thing we do for love =)

When I was 21 or 22, I had a chance to be a total sleazebag and shoot video for a company that did glamour porn photoshoots. I passed on the offer, as I had a full-time job doing IT at the time.

*sigh*

I was working in the mines in Broken Hill, Australia when a mate told me "they need actors for some roles in a movie, I told them we could ride bikes, there's a week's work at least - lets go!" - I declined - the movie - Mad Max

Holy crap! That would have been something I regretted too.

And Chris, you're saying you regret not taking the glamour porn gig?
