What are these called and how are they made?
Anyone know what the proper term is for those little icons that appear in the address line of the browser? And anyone know where there might be a tutorial on how to make them?
This is an example of what I'm talking about. |

Don't know if it's got an official name, but I've always called it the favicon, since usually the filename of the icon is favicon.ico.

Microangelo is one program that allows you to create icons and pack multiple sizes into a .ico file.
