Workstation Desk Recommendations
Well, I'm moving, and my roommates own the desk I've been using for my editing rig. So... I have to find myself something new. Wondering if anyone has any specific recommendations on a desk that can handle the usual - 2 monitors, a small video monitor, speakers, etc.

A couple of years ago I got a desk from IKEA. I don't remember what it was called. All of their stuff has names, something to do with Sweden I guess ;-) but it's about 5 feet long and 21/2 feet deep. Drawer and keyboard tray, pretty nice. Can't remember how much though but I don't think it was too expensive.
I built a shelf that holds 2-20" monitors and a 13 inch TV plus the desk has a DA, 3 tapes decks, a deck for input, CD's, paperwork, 3 external FWHDD's and some other junk on it. Hmmm, guess I'd better put a shelf up on the wall and clear some of the junk off the desk. sometimes office furniture places get real nice stuff back from rental and sell it off fairly cheap. Don |
