Browser Question
Hi all,
(says he, head hung in shame and embarrasment 'cause he forgot). What setting have I changed that has caused my browser to open all links in the same window? I want to be able to switch between sites and not use the Back button to find the site where I was. Make any sense. Thanks Andrew

If you are using IE6 (and maybe also earlier versions);
Go to Tools > Internet Options Click the "Advanced" tab Under the "Browsing" untick "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" Hope this helps. |

Hi Dan,
I need to hone up on my reading skills. Have unchecked it but still does not open in a new window. Cheers Andrew

Andrew.... you are correct, it does not appear to work.
When I want to open a link in a new window, I either right click and choose "Open Link in new window" or hold shift and click on the link which has the same effect. Sorry I can not be of more help. Last edited by Dan C.; April 21st, 2002 at 02:40 AM. |

Hi,
I use a Mac so i don't know if this will help. Go to preferences, go to interface extras, select option Open a new browser window. Jeff |
