How about WinZip ? I wonder how many millions of people (myself included) press that Agree button everytime it is run. I had a paid copy sometime ago with Win98, but that's on my personal computer, and I haven't found the "Agree" nag screen annoying enough. |

I used winZip for a few years without ever registering.. althoug now I use a freeware called FilZip... and it works just fine.. same quality (for my needs) as WinZip and it´s free. Still I would think that the people at WinZip know that most common user will not register.. and I´m sure they have managed a business plan on that.. and they make their money on Corporate deals or some other tools, or something else. Otherwise they would put more annoying stuff on their software and would have not survived this long... I´m just saying that repression and taxes is the least effective way to deal with Piracy... I mean.. it doesn´t even work with drugs... So industry should change radically the way of doing business if they want to decrease Piracy...
