Hell Froze Over
...that's what the Apple site says right now because they've just released the newest version of iTunes--for Windows users!
Run and grab a copy - http://www.apple.com/itunes/ (you need to get it before the Pepsi 100 million FREE songs giveaway on Feb. 1) |

I downloaded it today and it works well. It's such a straight forward and easy to use app and the visualisations are really cool. When you start them you can actually watch hell freeze into a big white apple logo in the middle of a Windows screen.

Rob can't yet, but users in the US should check out the Apple music store. Download songs for only $.99 Whole CD's for $9.99 (occasionally less). Of course you'll want an iPod to carry all that music around with you and sync to iTunes. Pretty cool.

You're also going to want a VW Beattle so you can use your iPod on the go ;-)

I downloaded, tried it and bougth BTs latest album for 9.99 and a couple of other songs. awesome.
I never thought I would say this...but I no longer use Music Match. With one exception this interface is the coolest and easiest to use. That exception being, I like the impromptu way you can build a playlist in the music match playlist window. Minor quibble though since itunes has MM beat everywhere else. |

As a mac user, I've been using iTunes since it was released. I'm glad to see a whole new mass of people now enjoying one of my favorite programs. The iPod is definitely the kicker - no more lugging a case fulla CDs of my favorite songs on an airplane anymore - I carry a thousand in my pocket (5 GB iPod).

I would say hell froze over when they make something useful for Windows... Say Final Cut?
