TV Sheriff

I just got back from a weekend in San Fransico, never been, very cool town. Anyway, my friends knew this guy (Dave Foss?) who does video production animation and other stuff. he has a performance piece called TV sheriff. Amongst much tomfoolery, these guys have designed a program that lets them sample video and audio from a keyboard... i've never seen it before. It seems limitless in its possibilities for live productions. If the Sheriff comes to your town, go see him. i won't spoil the Prospector and Videoape charaters.

Yes, he did sample video from a keyboard hung 'round his neck. dont ask me how or what, just he was playing a keyboard that played a different quicktime movie for each key, and he could real time layer the different quicktime movies on the screen.

I downloaded this OS X VJ software called ArKaos, it does what you say, assign video clips to a midi keyboard or play them using the keys on your computer, here is the link, don't know if they make a Windoze version.
