Video Archiving/Cataloging Software
Hey guys... I film and edit in HDV, and one thing I need is some sort of database software that can easily allow me to add my video footage to it and apply keywords to clips, thumbnails/previews of each clip and all the information I want to keep track of or make searchable.
I have so much footage it is getting near impossible for me to remember not only what I have that I can use, but also to remember where it is. Any know of a good piece of software that specializes in cataloging/searching/archiving video footage that can make things like this easy? Thanks so much for any suggestions. |

I just ran across this recently:
http://www.mediafiler.com/ It seems like an easy to use, low-cost program. No previews or thumbnails, as far as I can see, but certainly rich metadata and searchable. |
