By the way...I planted two "Easter eggs" in the movie. One is my "Hitchcockian" cameo, and the other I won't give a hint for.
Also...one really obvious blooper...anyone who can spot where Lady X walks right past my Glidecam post that I set down on the ground while I did one shot handheld wins a prize. In fact, prizes for all three! |

Funny reference to the shady title of 'Associate Producer'... -->>> Haha, I was thinking the same thing, what was the line? "Associate Producer credit is what you give your secretary instead of a raise". Thanks John, works great! :D Did you know anyone to get that rate for the helicopter? I'm not up on the rates, but I thought they'd be around the $500-$600 range. Sweet deal though and worked out great. |

Hey the Glidecam post is when she's coming out of the alley in the dress, I think. Still can't find the others though.

Good thoughts on the getting the experience actor as the central role and making their assistant producer.

John, I really thought they stood out according to your directions in the setup of Lady X. More than the lipstick IMO. In other words, they caught my eye, and made me look for them again as the story progressed.
Again, great job.

Matt,
You spotted it! Okay, I've got a "prize" for you...give me a couple of days to finalize it and I'll send it to you. No one's spotted the cameo, eh? (No...I'm not the guy that whips around to look at Lady X as she walks by... that cracked me up when he did that) |

Nick, you're half right! I am a dodgy looking chap...but not that one. That dodgy chap in the wig is the same as the bad guy in the beginning. ;)

Well, that's you on the Wanted poster that Lady X rubs her cigarette out into. The felon has a literal Spanish translation of your name, Johnny Padlock. The name appears again as a writing credit, and some of the other credits are also variations on your name. (Hope that's not your other easter egg.)
I would have let somebody else take a crack at it, except that I'm really curious about this prize. Peter: "Whoa-ho, now look, Slick, we're not going to buy your lousy timeshare, all right? Now where's my boat?" Salesman: "Ho-ho-hold on! You have a choice! You can have the boat, or... the MYSTERY BOX!" Lois: "What, are you crazy? We'll take the boat." Peter: "Now, now, not so fast, Lois. A boat's a boat, but the mystery box could be anything. It could even be a boat! You know how much we've wanted one of those!" Lois: "Then let's just--" Peter: "We'll take the box!"

Well i've looked through again and your must be pretty hard to see as the only remaining suggestion i have is the that you are the guy fiddling with the rucksack walking behind the badguy. This of course begs the question of who is holding the camera? Either that or you are in amongst the crowd walking across the road but you'd have to have good eyesight to spot you. |

John: Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner! Robert, you're absolutely correct! The wanted poster is the cameo shot. Don, tell him what he's won...
Don (Pardo): A bee-yoo-tif-ful mystery box, John. Good eye on the Spanish name and other name translations...but, nope, that's not the other Easter Egg. You guys can give up on that last one...only a few people will catch it. |

Written By : Juan Candado which translates according to babel
to Locked Juan (Juan is John in English?). Ofcouse Locke(d) is the fun there then. Edited By: Johan Schloss which is German for John Lock which is another funny twist on Locke. That is all I could find...
