Projects on The XL1s in FL
Hey Guys just need some feedback on 2 music videos that were shot using the XL1s. I've been using it for a few months now and will be going to orlando this week to shot another music video with it.
To check out the videos Go to www.detourrecords.com then click on the videos page. Its the first 2 on the top, NIKARAO & YOHANY. THANKS |

Hello,
Watched the videos.. They look pretty good, pretty decent pacing and editing style.. I realize you are on a budget, (like i usually am) the only criticism (and its constructive) is to get you to try to stay away from the off white and gray walls and backgrounds for some of the shots.. Use some different backgrounds and maybe a little more dramatic lighting on the shots also.. But overall they are good videos..You should be pleased with them.. Did you use 2 cameras on the shoot ?? I like the female singer one the best.... Mike Moncrief (fellow Floridian-In Orlando) |

I really enjoyed the Yohany video as well. Overall, I would say it was spectacular. Even the choreography was tight and well done. There were only a few camera shots, shakey or moving around, where it became distracting to the overall scene. Good job.

Thanks guys for your responce, yeah the video was shot with limited budget and both were shot in the same studio sound stage. One camera was used for both videos. Thanks for the advice I hope to go all out with the new video I'm shooting this weekend in orlando.
