Hi all,
I've just started a film group in Newcastle - the JustShorts film group - there are lots of students locally with lots of talent and all they needed was a kick up the butt and some organisation to get something off the ground - so I did. We have a Canon XL1 digital camera with 16x zoom lens. • Manfrotto Gruppo tripod • Shoulder pad with 2x XLR connections • Phantom Power 12v/48v with 2x mic input and output • Sennheiser mic MZH3015 plus some other bits and pieces. Isn't it weird how you decide to do something and suddenly things come your way - a week after we got together we were lucky enough to come across a little contest that paid $500 for making 9 - 45 sec shorts films. We did 3 sets and earned ourselves $1,500!. - We have money to spend on Equipment!! So I'll be doing lots of reading and picking everyone's brains about lights & field recorders etc etc. Thrilled to be part of the forum and ready to get out there and make something worthwhile. please take a look at our website and let me know what you think. www.justshorts.info |
