Hi James,
Welcome to Seattle. Hope you didn't think last week's glorious weather was the October norm. ~~~:o) Where in town have you settled? I've been exploring the use of digital projection in the context of live theatrical performance. Currently I'm building a new show that will premiere in Seattle in May 07. Much of my video projection work plays with nearly abstract natural and geometric forms--lots of close-up framing traveling across water, wood, stone, body, building, road. . . I collaborate with a composer for my shows and am beginning to make music videos of his tunes. There is also a remarkable documentary wanting to emerge from my soul as soon as my gear and skill set as digital film maker reach PBS standards. I'd enjoy meeting any folks from this forum for a cuppa conversation at one of Seattle's ubiquitous coffeeshops. Send me a note. all the best, thomas |
