Cool, that's what my friend uses who I shoot with. His low light management is poor. Is it the same situation with you or have you found ways around that?

Low light isn't great but it is better than other HDV cams I've seen and definately better than CMOS based cams. I have pushed the gain to +6 in extreme situation but don't like to go above +3. I shoot a lot of stage shows and one of the last ballet shows had two numbers where the stage was only lit by a few dim red lights. I had to go to +6 on the gain and came out with some useable footage.

I have also recently did some fireworks down in Disneyland and at the Marin County Fair. They actually turned out great.
