Greetings from the West!
My name is Bill Heaner and I am a documentary filmmaker, writer and music composer. I come from a background of analogue (16mm film and Beta). I have produced a number of adventure documentaries for The Discovery Channel as well as many other independent projects.
I am relatively new to DV, but am in the process of converting all of my production (pre to post) to this medium. I look forward to getting to know you all and to tap into your vast data bank of wisdom on issues surrounding DV. I also hope to offer my own advice when solicited or if I see an issue posted for which I have experience. See you on the forums!

Welcome Bill!
You've come to the best place on the Net for intelligent, well-moderated discussions of DV matters. We have quite a few professionals such as yourself here.
I know we'd love to hear your thoughts and the challenges you face in migrating your productions to a DV format.
