Profusion 2014 Toronto & Alister Chapman
Hello
Last Thursday I attended Visitek's ProFusion event just so I could meet Alister Chapman. Wow am I impressed by how knowledgeable and approachable he is! He gave a series of free seminars on the Sony F55/F5 Fs7 Pmw-160.180/ a7s and the pmw 70 cameras and he embarrassed the Sony sales team with his knowledge and presentation skills. His presentation was so good that I gave my full attention to his presentation rather than look the stunning model sitting on the motorbike in Sonys booth....well that was a toss up.... His seminars are well worth attending. Thanks Alister I enjoyed meeting you very much. Have a a Courage Directors on me! And, Canada is much vaster and amazing than just Toronto. Thanks Ray.
I do hope to spend more time in Canada and visit other areas. I'd love to go to Northern Canada in the winter to see the Aurora. I'm doing workshops at Midtown Video, Miami on the 24/25th Oct and AbelCine NY on the 28th of Oct if anyone is interested.

Thanks Alister.
I lived up in Whitehorse YT back in 91-92. The scenery is stunning and the mountains are huge but shallow in pitch. Very different from the sharp steep Rockies found in BC. Thus the horizon view is massive and the Borealis shows are grand. |
