Greetings from south Georgia (USA!)
Hi from somewhere south of Atlanta and west of Savannah, Georgia. I'm a biology professor who has been a still photographer (mostly nature) for decades, and only very recently gotten into video. I've quickly learned that, as many others have observed, photography and videography are extremely different (My eyes almost bounced out of my head watching on the computer my first, and last, handheld video of a standing robin shot with a 250mm lens!).
Anyways, the video is partly for interest, partly for our department, so I'll be doing both nature filming and stories on faculty and student research projects. No crew, barely a budget, minimal equipment; it'll be fun! Cheers, Alan |

Welcome to the forum Alan. There are many people here who can help you achieve a Ph.D. result on an undergraduate budget. Enjoy!

Re: Greetings from south Georgia (USA!)
Alan, hi. I live in Atlanta and also shoot nature video. I have been a member of DVINFO for many years. This is the place that will answer all your questions. I drive through your area all the time. I shot a health education video in Savanna last year. Bob
