Hi from Appleton, WI at DVinfo.net

Just joined here, looks like quite an informative place, and that is exactly what I am looking for! Only I have alot of searching and research to do!

I am going on 23 come Halloween, and look to attend college for graphic design next year.

Where to start... I've done webdesign as a service and hobby (not a career) for over 4 years, and decided to move to graphic design, which will also be my career pursuit. I generally tend to start creative projects at the same time, but pursue one after the other. Shortly I am going to begin work on my first homebrew ambient-electronic album -- something I've wanted to do for over 10 years. Within a few years, I would like to do an indie film. I have alot of research to do, and that is why I am here.

I am Mac based, although either platform is cool with me really. I plan to build a nice G5 rig down the road. Looks like DV is the way to go - I saw a JVC HD-DV camera with pro-quality results for only $6300 new. To me, that is a bargain to get started in film making, and I am relieved!

Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself a bit there. Glad to be here!
