Yes, that's sunny, sandy San Diego (well, sandy where I'm at). :)

I am setting up a small, discounted memorial montage video editing service for people on a budget who've lost their beloved pets and also for animal-related non profit organizations.

I will be sub-contracting out work with video editing STUDENTS for these relatively simple projects to keep prices down and provide a positive work reference for students trying to get a foothold in the workplace. I'm also looking to partner up (referral-based) with 1 or 2 other SMALL, local production companies for additional "premium" service offerings. Starting out as an SP for now, then incorporating into I guess an LLC or LLLC later on.

I'm a fairly new student to professional video editing, about 5 years off and on (more "off" than "on" unfortunately), only because I haven't had the time nor $$ to get the training or the parts I needed to get my system back up for quite a long while, but FINALLY getting things moving fwd now (now that my system is outdated...oh well lol). Speaking of my system:

older Asus dual core w/ HT
Canopus DVRex pro
Edius 4.2 NLE

Will incl more details later. Yes, I know it's an old clunker, but it does what I need for now. So there. hehheh ;p
