Hi from Darwin, Australia
I have video camera SONY HDR-XR200VE and use Adobe Premiere Elements 9 for editing home videos. My films are just amateour videos for my friends. In anticipation of canoeing trip in a few months time I also purchased today waterproof HD camera Oregon Scientific ATC9K. I am a geologist by profession.
Regards, Andrew |

Hi Andrew and welcome. I was going to mention the cricket and then thought "no, the Aussies never gloat when they thrash us". :)

Welcome, Andrew. You'll find DV Info to be a friendly and helpful place. It has a wealth of technical knowledge on a wide range of digital video cameras and other associated gear. It's a great place to share info and solve technical problems. And it's very much needed, because digital video cameras are constantly evolving and so is the know-how of how to use them properly.
This place really does give the internet a good name. Except for the occasional pom who likes to remind us of the current scores in the cricket. (There's still three Test matches to go, Ray. It might be wise to hold your fire until after the Boxing Day Test!) |

You don't need to remind me David. I've seen England come crashing down too many times in the past. Just so long as there are some great games and a bit of excitement. :)
Andrew, I hope we get to see some of your aquatic work soon.
