Hello from Las Vegas
Thrilled to pieces to be here. I'm really looking forward to the experience.
I've been a SLR picture taker for 35 years and a dSLR picture taker since their inception. I wanted to try video and started with the simplest, a miniDV but I just couldn't get past the video quality after shooting all these nice stills. Well my PC died and was replaced with some horse-power (some) and Black Friday offered up a bare bones entry to HD video recorder so here I am. I realize many here are involved in depth. It is very possible I will too; let's just start from scratch and see what happens. |

You're in good company here, Robert -- welcome aboard!
No need to wait until CES hits your town, we'll have you squared away long before then. |

Well that's rock-n-roll. It's my beleif that I should pass on what is given to me as well so maybe in a year I'll give you guys a rest and deal with the newbs for awhile.
I don't want to start anything here. Can you point me to a "Is this here computer thing good enough fer movies" thread? I've got a million questions but I'm going to try to read already wrote answers first. |
