Hello DV users. I am Brendan South coming to you live from the Motor City. After using this site for info and tips, I finally joined once I got my equipment. As for that equipment, its a Canon XL2, 16 and 3x lenses. Manfrotto tripod and fluid head. Carrying it all in an Ogio backpack, fits pretty well. Using a bunch of halogen shop lights for a lighting kit. Editing on an iMac, bought it 6 months ago, software is Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. As for what I am using all of this equipment for, I want to do music videos. I grew up playing in garage bands, and studying photography. Kind of molded the 2, and now I am trying to get a career jump started.

I'm glad to finally be a DVer, can't wait to use this forum to its fullest.
