I'm really enjoying it so far... If you'd like to come check it out sometime i'd be completely cool with that...! Just let me know if you're keen and i'll give you my work address... I run my own business so it's all good! I was borowing the FX1E before and it took me almost two years to get enough cash for this one. but know it makes money for me... It's a good feeling finally getting a camera...i'm sure you'll get one soon enough! Last edited by Shane Rielly; June 22nd, 2007 at 01:34 AM. Reason: Adding a quote |

Hey ho, glad to have you aboard DVinfo...just the other day I was kind of wishing that someone from Africa would sign up for the UWOL Challenge, because one of my favorite things about it is how quickly it has spanned the globe, with 14 different sectors of the world represented from Australia to Norway, etc....and suddenly you and your new camcorder appeared in the sign-up thread. Nice!
As we say in the US, must be time for me to buy a lottery ticket.... Good luck, have fun, and looking forward to seeing what you can learn from the experience. |

Nice to see you on the forums. I love it down in South Africa, it's beautiful. We were down there a few years ago for RESFEST and Sitenghi. I didn't want to leave! The folks we met at the festivals were very vibrant, creative and eager learn. So cool.
Welcome :) |

I have some experience in digital film production, and I'll be staying in the area of UKZN for a month or so in July/August. Perhaps we can meet up and produce something (my preference would be action over horror)? |

Shark-fan from Cape Town
Howzit all!
New here- been in CT for about 3 years, and just getting back behind a camera after 15 years. NLE and camera technology's a whole lot different to what I learned on, but it's all fun! Looks like I've got a lot to learn though! I'm learning about the XH A1 and loving mine- using Pinnacle to hack it all together with. |
