Newbie to board-Twin Cities at DVinfo.net

Hi, as you may have guessed, I am new to this board, and I live in the Twin Cities (that's Minneapolis and Saint Paul) of Minnesota.

Been into DV ever since I started shooting it in the late 90's
as part of my job at a local NBC affiliate. Been in TV since '96,
directed newscasts, produced local high school football show, got to shoot on the sidelines for more than a couple of Steelers games.

Moved to MN in 1999, continuing my television production career.

I have always had a love of film, just never felt like the right time for me to do anything about it. Until now. I seem to have had a fire lit under me re: indy short movies. As I have access to pro gear and production tools, I've decided to jump in with some small productions locally and help them make their movie(s).

I found this board just recently, can't believe how much info there is here. I'm sure I'll have many questions as we get going on some projects, just thought I'd introduce myself for now.
