Hi, I'm new at DVinfo.net

Hello. I'm originally from the Boston area, going to school in Southern California. I'm a film student at Chapman University. I have been using a Canon GL1 for the past two years for most of my projects. When I went to college, my roommate owned an XL1 and allowed me to borrow it to shoot my stuff. Now I'm going out and getting an XL2 next Monday because I love the XL series so much. I have aspirations to get a job in the L.A. film industry, possibly specializing in film sound, but at this point it's too early to tell.

I was searching around on the Canon XL2 Watchdog site for info about the camera I'm going to be buying and decided I might as well join the community here. There seems to be a surplus of very skilled and talented people here, so I look forward to talking with you.
