I am the n00b
Well I'm from Ohio I own a Canon XL1 which I use for fun and learning videography, etc.. I got into DV by shooting racing and driving that my friends and I do on the tracks and windy country roads. I'd like to take it further as I progress in my skill and one day sell my videos. :D For now I just do it for fun. I go to school full time and have a day job as an applications developer for an internet company.

I'm an Ohio resident as well currently residing in columbus.
I've been shooting and editing car vids for a few years now on a borrowed digi8 (ugh) I have a few posted on my site http://www.durocco.com The one problem I have is location, I do some track days but I realy would like to be able to have an abandoned runway or other large empty and unregulated space to get a car well out of shape. Have you any suggestions?
