New and ready to learn
Just wanted to introduce ourselves. We have no real experience but are lucky enough to be able to learn. Me and my friend have a canon xl1s and gl1 and lots of books. We are learning as we go. As we go through our learning process we will be asking lots of questions that may seem stupid to many of you. Our apologies for this. Either way just wanted to say hello and thank the dvinfo community and all of you who help us as we go.

Welcome! Don't worry about being new... we were all there at one time. You'll have to really try hard to ask a stupid question, as most questions are based on experience- or lack of- not intelligence.
Just a bit of advice though... Most questions you may have, are likely to have been asked already. Use the search button, and save yourself some time.
