Greetings from Minneapolis MN.
This looks like a good place for support and info.
After 3 years of working on Web/Java/Animation, I picked up a GL1. Now I'm a little overwhelmed, it's all new. What I really want to do. Is bring it all together some how. Having spent a little time in Vancouver, Minneapolis seems like a wasteland. Anybody else from this area? |

Welcome aboard! I can imagine that things must be a little bit
overwelming at first. I had that too about 6 months ago when I first started. But I learned a lot from reading and discussing things at this place. Together with actually using my camera (always the best way to learn) I'm amazed at where I am today in retrospect of where I was last year.

I spent 8 years freelancing in the Minneapolis area before moving. I've heard things have changed up there, and I still have some good friends who get regular work on features, commercials, and industrials. There seemed to be a good corporate market there as well.
Hope good things happen for you there. Brrrrrr Jeff Patnaude Atlanta, GA |
