I'm really interested in learning more about digital video, filmmaking and everything related. I'm definitely a beginner and don't really have too much equipment (just an old Sony camcorder and a cheap audio mic).

I helped out a friend of mine on an independent feature film he was working on and that was the catalyst for me to go out and learn more about filmmaking and video. Since then, I've been talking to a lot of friends of friends and filmmakers in the local Bay Area community. I'm really interested in learning all aspects and plan to work on some personal projects as a form of exercise.

I've been browsing around this site for the last few months and I think there is a really good community here. Hopefully I can contribute and join in the conversation!
