All right this ones going out to all the Chicagoans in the house!
Now seeing that there are some of you out there and you are busy on that shot, or editing that last take or even doing an open audition. What’s up is I am not asking you all to get together so we can make a movie or form a group that just talks about making a movie. I just wanted to know if you wanted to get together for a year end get together and trade old or new war stories from the front lines. All in favor chime in if not well……..I’ll have to get back to you on that one. |

Yo Tom,
You missed a great opportunity to talk shop with some of us during the ETW (Entertainment Technology) Show-Chicago last month... we had puh-lenty of time to chat during that show. Why don't you give Gary Adcock of the Chicago Final Cut Pro User's Group (CHIFCPUG) a shout-out? Gary is very friendly and knowledgeable. You'll get to attend some very informative monthly meetings and greet industry experts for a mere $5 Admission - and you'll get to network with a ton of video professionals in the Chicago area. The next meeting is actually a Holiday Party at the Goose Island Brewery on December 16. http://www.chifcpug.org/info.htm You'll need to register for free to attend the meetings or at least introduce yourself as a new member at the front door http://www.chifcpug.org/register.htm Tell Gary that Don from BOSFCPUG sent you ;-) Is that Goose Island brew any good? Sounds pretty decent to me. - don
