Deep in the heart of...Virginia?
Hi from Chesterfield, Virginia, home of the first ironworks in English North America, the first commercially mined coal and, less popular as a tourist attraction, the Manchester Docks - where the vast majority of African and American black slaves passed from one owner to another.
I primarily develop marketing message and do strategy and economics consulting, but our business also has a significant advertising aspect. For the last couple of years, I work on commercial shoots, fly a Steadicam Flyer a lot, use a Sony EX1 with some frequency, and work on online distribution of corporate and government video. As a hobby, I started a biweekly video podcast focused on ambulance and fire agency leaders, run with a really tiny crew. We shoot with Canon HV20s, have about 12,000 watts of lighting (including our first 6 port flo, which appeals to my Irish skin - I was getting tan under the hot lights), use Oktava, Rode and Countryman mics connected to an Edirol R-4 mixer, and dabble in teleprompting. Not as much as our current President, though. We edit in FCP, use Color pretty heavily, and generally embrace an Apple office and household. 39, married to an amazing woman, no kids, one dog. Hi. |
