Hi, nice to join this august body of experts! I am one of a 5-member video team doing on-line news and features for Miamiherald.com, where I have labored for far too long as a photographer, photo editor, and somewhat to my surprise, video producer. We use Canon XHa1's for our team and have equipped any number of unsuspecting still photographers and reporters with Canon S5is point-n-shoots (and have been shamed numerous times by what a good job of reporting semi-trained and inexperienced people have done, see some of our Haiti reporting by people who a year ago wouldn't have been allowed to shoot their own mug shots). Our team edit in FCP, love Sennheiser mikes, use Maxell Pro tapes, hmmm, what else info can I offer? Nice to be aboard! // Battle Vaughan / Miami Herald video team
