This is what I tell my friends: Bernard Baruch-
To me, old age is always fifteen years older than I am. This is what I tell myself: Edith Wharton- It spite of illness, in spite even of the archenemy sorrow, one can remain alive long past the usual date of disintegration if one is unafraid of change, insatiable in intellectual curiosity, interested in big things, and happy in a small way Born 1946

Ken, you'll have to make an adjustment. My birthday is today, so I'm 47.

Thanks, Ken--it's nice to know that the 40+ crowd is still "above average." :)
Andre, would you care to elaborate on your post? I'd like to hear more of the story. And Jeff--Happy Birthday !!!!

Lorinda, there is nothing special to the story. I have not been found somewhere in the bushes..but I believe we were all " too young" when we were born to be sure of our birthday. We have to believe what our environment tells us.

Happy birthday, Jeff! Just wondering...how are you be able to photograph wildlife, with all your camera setup, and manage a walker at the same time?
