UK Adventure Filming
Anybody in the North of the UK into adventure filming climbing mountain biking etc? im based in Leeds and sometimes Northumberland. iam really keen on developing my adventure filming with others like minded. I have a strong outdoor background climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, snowbaording and kayaking to a decent standard but am more interested in capturing it. If you are keen on the same stuff add to this thread or drop me a line simon*at*sycamore-house.co.uk

Hi Simon, I'm based on the Isle of Man but I'm always interested in meeting up with other 'adventure' filmmakers. I'm planning a bit of filming at the end of October in Scotland - going upto Avimore with 10 extreme white water kayakers.
Check out my short - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=yaAC48myZM4 and let me know if you fancy meeting up sometime. I shoot on a Canon XH-A1 |

I'm based in Cardiff but I tend to do a lot of motoring videos with cameras under cars and such.

Hi Jennie,we'll be in Avimore from Friday 26th October until Wednesday the 31st October. We will actually be filming on the West coast on the Friday and Saturday(probably on the River Etive,Spean or Orchy or all 3) so we'll almost definitely be in the Clachaig Inn in Glen Coe on the Friday night.
Come and join us if you like,it'll be a great experience! |

I hope to be doing some UW work at Loch Fyne soon. Not sure how close that is to you. But if you fancy trying some SCUBA diving and some underwater video work you'd welcome to pop along.

Phil & Jennie
I sent you both mails using the online facility of this website but I dont know if it has delivered them. Let me know if not and i'll do it through the forum...even if it does clutter it up a bit. Basically I'm up for doing some paddling filming in October and generally sharing and learning together etc.
Off to Vancouver :-) for a week tomorrow for work :-( but hopefully will still have email. Simon |
