Hi all,
I'm Russ and I live in Burton on Trent, the world famous brewing town and home of Bass (Coors)and Marstons beers to name a few...
I've been messing with video on and off for about 12 years, starting with a 8mm Samsung and editing with 2 vhs recorders and a Commodore Amiga.

I now use a Sony VX2100 with RODE Videomic and now getting to grips with a cheap Flycam stabiliser and saving for a Merlin.

I don't use video as a profession, it's a hobby but sometimes the Company I work for asks for training videos and I enjoy the opportunity to do those, so I'm glad in a way I work for an employer who doesn't like to spend money!

Also, I build my own makeshift larger equipment, just finished my crane and next dolly and tracks.

I now edit using Adobe Video Suite, I love Premiere and After Effects. I enjoy filming anything and everything I get the opportunity to point my camera at, love to film wildlife though not much in the town, I make short films, they are on my website www.russthedutch.net.
