DV Camera calibration tutes?
hi,
I've read of the ability to use camera charts and software to recalibrate the gamma profile and colour settings of the dv camera to produce a more film-like image at shooting time. Does anyone know the location of a web tute that describes how to do this? There's some scant information at Pixelmonger.com - more just references to it being done on a Sony commercial shot with a PD-150 - but no description of exactly how to do it. And yes, I've read his book and it ain't in there either. Anyone? Thanks as always, DW |

maybe if you're a electronic wizard and can get inside the camera. these consumer/pro consumer camera's do not have custom programable features like pro camera's ... more of these camera's are strating to offer cine gamma, black stretch or controls for blacks, knee setting but the so called custom set up like pixel monger says' describes doen't exist for the rest of us.
the sony HD and panasonic vari 27 HD do offer programable settings ... |
