10.4.6 = Look Suite Problems?
Ever since I updated to OS X 10.4.6 it seems my Look Suite (v1) has quit working. I try to apply an effect and it says "AE Effects Error: Could not find plugin". I am not using AE, I am using FCP which is the weird thing. I completely uninstalled AE and it still says the same thing. I can apply Misfire effects, but nothing from the Look Suite.
I am almost positive this is a 10.4.6 problem because I installed Magic Bullet on my Powerbook to see if maybe it was my G5 that was the problem, but it did the same thing on a fresh install and my Powerbook has never seen a copy of After Effects installed. I also torrented MB Editors v2 (just to see if it would work without having to buy it first and then find out) and it does the same thing! Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone perform the update to 10.4.6 without this problem? |

In case anyone is wondering, the fix was to reinstall the 10.4.6 update. Strangely enough, it fixes the MB problems.

Mike,
I've been having some trouble with MB myself - in FCP 5 though. Strange preview and playback problems I'll try to the reinstall and see if it fixes the problem. |
