film look with strobe effect?
I was directing a short movie in our national tv station yesterday. To get that film look they used some effect called strobe. And they were editing on Avid Express or something. This effect worked really well, but i could'nt find it in Premiere. They also said that this effect reduces the number of lines.
Does somebody know what im talking about? |

Well there should be a "Strobe Light" filter in Premiere's 'Stylize' filters, but that's in 6.0 and I dunno if it's been carried on to the newer versions. What kind of strobe effect is it that they used? The seizure inducing kind with wild flickers and flashes? Or that high shutter speed look? Or was it something else entirely?

i dunno but it looked really good, i just translated it from our language and there are no any translations for the this word. Premiere's strobo light does'nt work for this. The video looked almost like a film. Maybe similar to dvx 24p....
