Best Stabilizer for DSLR / Canon 5D IV Video
I have the old Glidecam 4000 Pro but its very old and breaking down (knobs and stuff are falling apart)
What's a good newer option? I have the Canon 5D IV with a 24mm lens. I have noticed the Glidecam XR-Pro, Glidecam HD 2000, and Merlin as well as some of the electronic stabilizers. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

I have the Glidecam HD 2000 and love it, I also have the Varavon Motorized 3-axis gimbal stabilization that I am selling. I shoot mostly weddings and the varavon (as much as I like it), it's too bulky to lug around all day.

If you want a mechanical steadicam then this is currently a great deal: http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/stabiliz...ale-359-a.html and it's down to 259 now.
