only been to one film festival, need to know about others.

so, the only festival i've ever been to was the savannah film and video festival, and man was that a big friggin screen. it was at the trustees theatre, which has a screen just as big as a normal movie theatre that shows regular flicks. for one guy with a gl-1 it's a daunting task to fill up a space that big with video that doesn't look like crap. i know video will always look like video, i'm just wondering if there are smaller screens at other festivals.

yup, that's what i want to know

depends on HOW big the festival is ... SUNDANCE which is BIG screens on several screens ..anywhere from 80 seat to 1400 seating theaters .. these days sundance has FILM and cinema digital projectors in most theaters .... one day a movie might play at the 80 seat theater then 2 days later play at a 600 seat theater. YES i'm saying the 80 seat theater has a SMALLER screen ? maybe 10ft across vs 40 ft for the 1400 seat theater

NTSC was made/looks it best on 19" to 32" TV's NOT a 25 ft screen
