Using posters to promote a short film

Hi guys,

The poster to promote my short film, Passing By, has just been finished (http://i.imgur.com/7SnNqob.png). Just wondering do any of you have any advice on how best to use it to advertise the film? I'm mainly using it to promote the facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/PassingByShortFilm) but any other ideas are welcome.

You can use it at film festivals. Irish festivals like the Galway Film Fleadh often display posters on the day of the screening. Having artwork helps to market the film on the festival circuit, but don't spend on a huge print run.

You can post it on lamp posts wherever the film is screening.
