Desktop DCP Creation at DVinfo.net

Hello all

18 months or so ago I tried to make a DCP of a short film using off the shelf software that would run on a Windows PC. The only thing I could find was EasyDCP which cost about £2000; and hence I decided to get them made professionally by a facilities house.

Coming back to this today does anyone know if there are any low cost tools out there to do this now? I am aware there's than open source solution opendcp - Open Digital Cinema Package software - Google Project Hosting but last time I tried this it was so slow and unreliable as to not be worth the effort.

Has anyone had better luck?
