Laser Laces - Affordable Fiber Optics for SFX
If anyone is thinking about remaking Tron or needs any other effects with fiber optic lights this could possibly help.

That's pretty neat...though I imagine if you were to remake tron you'd have an easier time using blacklights.

Here's a site that specializes in miniature LED solid and strobe lights for models and RC products.

Thanks for the link, James, I might pick up some of those things; I'll be the envy of every dork in my neighborhood! ;)
Might also want to check out Live Wire, similar stuff. Not sure if it would be considered "affordable", as you need to contact them for a custom quote, but man is it cool (EDIT: scratch that, I see they've started selling it online. Seems reasonably priced). Electroluminescent wire used in all sorts of parties, theater installations, and films (check their gallery for examples). Very cool. |

Your link is a thousand times better. That's more of what I was looking for. The fact that you can buy certain lengths and thicknesses for custom applications. Thanks for your link!
