Laser Laces - Affordable Fiber Optics for SFX

If anyone is thinking about remaking Tron or needs any other effects with fiber optic lights this could possibly help.

That's pretty neat...though I imagine if you were to remake tron you'd have an easier time using blacklights.

Here's a site that specializes in miniature LED solid and strobe lights for models and RC products.

Thanks for the link, James, I might pick up some of those things; I'll be the envy of every dork in my neighborhood! ;)

Might also want to check out Live Wire, similar stuff. Not sure if it would be considered "affordable", as you need to contact them for a custom quote, but man is it cool (EDIT: scratch that, I see they've started selling it online. Seems reasonably priced). Electroluminescent wire used in all sorts of parties, theater installations, and films (check their gallery for examples). Very cool.

Your link is a thousand times better. That's more of what I was looking for. The fact that you can buy certain lengths and thicknesses for custom applications. Thanks for your link!
