Avid's FluidFilm

I was checking out Avid Xpress Pro in my friend's office, and I started reading through some of the features. I found a feature called 'FluidFilm.'

The description on the Avid website says:

FluidFilm™ effects to simulate film and progressive media for interlaced video

Has anyone tried these effects before? I'm going to go back later tonight with some footage and test it out, but I'd like to see what results other people have had.

Thanks
