difference between gamma and black levels? at DVinfo.net

i ve been playing around with the color correction tools from FCP3 and i can´t see the difference between setting the black levels and gamma.

Does FCP have things like scopes and histograms? If so enable
those and look again when you change it.

FCP does have a full selection of scopes and histograms.
