Film To Dv Question

It may be that I just read Rodriguez' book "Rebel Without a Crew," but I've been looking to see if anyone has shot film and transfered to DV to edit on FCP?

All of the questions seem to talk about going the other way. Has anyone shot S8mm, 16mm and transferred to DV?

Thanks,

Jeff Patnaude

I'm currently involved with a documentary that shot on S16 (a rarity these days) and is now editing on Xpress DV. Ask any questions you want. FYI, films like Intolerable Cruelty are now being telecined to DV in order to allow the directors to cut on laptops. It's a very good option to avoid cutting by hand.
