Best experimental film festival?
NOTE: I'm not sure if this is the place I should have posted this. If it isn't I would REALLY appreciate if it could be moved to the adequate place since this is a really important thread for me.
Hi gang, I have just finished a 43min experimental narrative film (filmed on dv and entirely rotoscoped by hand) that I'd like to submit to different festivals. I was wondering if anyone knows some big experimental festivals out there. I know that 43min is a damned length since it's not really a short and it's not really a feature, but there's got to be something out there. Basically we have 2 things to be taken into consideration about here: - 1 the length - 2 it was shot on video Any suggestions? Also, if there's any distributors interested out there I can guarantee this film is the bomb. Rafa |

Thanks, I found this website yesterday and I found it to be of great help. There's just so many festivals there. Too bad I don't know which are hot which aren't...since you have to pay for many of the submissions it would be good to know which are worth it and which aren't. I'll have to do some research for each individual festival. So far I already submitted my film to the NY Underground FF. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
